Car Rental COVID-19 FAQs
Is Enterprise open?
Yes. Enterprise is an essential services provider that remains open to meet critical transportation and personal mobility needs. We are committed and ready to help you get wherever you need to be.
What steps are being taken to clean rental cars?
Each rental vehicle at Enterprise is thoroughly cleaned between every rental and backed with our Complete Clean Pledge. This includes washing, vacuuming, general wipe down, and sanitising with a disinfectant that meets leading health authority requirements, with particular attention to more than 20-plus high-touch points. We also extend the Complete Clean Pledge to our shuttles (for airport locations) and neighborhood branches.
What is the current car rental process?
To help protect both customers and employees, we have modified our car rental process. This includes the addition of kerbside rentals at our locations to help promote social distancing by getting you quickly on your way while avoiding foot traffic in our locations.
Delivery is also offered at select car rental locations throughout the country. Please contact your rental branch for availability.
Whether you are picking your vehicle up kerbside, or if we deliver it to you, we’re committed to maintaining proper distance throughout the process.
How does car rental return work during the Coronavirus outbreak?
If you are currently renting a car with us, your local branch should be reaching out to you about options to return your rental vehicle. If you have any additional questions or are looking for more information, please call 0800 111 4312.
Can I modify, extend, or cancel my reservation?
You can modify or cancel your reservation via our website or mobile app. We have extended our existing no-fee cancellation policy to include customers with pre-paid rentals booked directly through us. To extend your car rental, you can click “Call to Extend Your Rental” in our mobile app. You can also call your rental branch or 0800 800 227 to extend your reservation.

Renting a Car at Bristol Airport (BRS)
Bristol Airport Car Hire
Bristol is a vibrant and exciting university town with lots going on, so no surprise if you've flown down to spend the weekend and need a rental car to get around.
With the largest fleet of rental cars in the country, you'll find the perfect vehicle for you at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Whether you're travelling as a family or group of friends and need a people carrier, on a romantic break and prefer something a little more luxurious or just need a comfortable, dependable car to drive, we have the rental car you need.
With four more branches in Bristol, whether you're local or arriving in Bristol by train, you'll find an Enterprise car and van hire branch that's convenient for you.
Visiting Bristol and the Area
With the beautiful city of Bath on your doorstep and the ever-popular Cotswolds, South West and even South Wales within easy driving distance, picking up a car rental at Britain's fifth largest regional airport makes perfect sense. Bristol airport is just eight miles from the city centre, direct on the A38. If you're heading to Bath, the A368 going east will get you there in under an hour and, if South Wales is your final destination, you can take the M4 and the M48.
Heading to the Beach
If you fancy a seaside stay, hop on the A368 westward and in just over half an hour you'll be on the beach in Weston-super-Mare. You may see what is, arguably, the most unusual bus stop in the country while you're there. Silica, or as the locals call it, the carrot, is a 30-metre high spire that is lit up at night and is a piece of public artwork that doubles as a bus stop.
Getting to Glastonbury from Bristol
Bristol is the closest airpost to Glastonbury so, if you’ve flown into Bristol airport on the way to the festival, take the A38 south through the scenic Mendip Hills, it’s under an hour away and you can stop off in Cheddar to visit the gorge and maybe stock up on the local cheese.
